OUR CRANE FLEET - RELIABLE, WELL-MAINTAINED & PROJECT READY

Each crane in our fleet has a name because around here, everything feels a little bit personal.

We’ve got Callie, Carmella, Cleo, Casey, Cindy, Cherry and Myleene as well as support vehicles that help us tackle any job, big or small. Our cranes are well-maintained, and ready to go when you are, but what really makes them shine is the dedicated drivers operating them.

We operate a versatile fleet of seven cranes, including two 40-tonne, one 55-tonne, and two 60-tonne all-terrain mobile cranes, plus two truck-mounted cranes (Bocker & Klaas). All are available for hire with a skilled operator, either on a hire-only or contract lift basis. Rest assured, our cranes are regularly serviced and maintained to the highest standards, so your project is always in safe, capable hands.

And it’s not just our own cranes, we manage all kinds of lifts so whatever the size or complexity of your lift, we can supply the right crane for the job.

WHERE IT ALL STARTED...
Caroline Grove GMK3050

Caroline was our first mobile crane, a Grove GMK 3050. We can’t introduce our fleet without a nod to her. Named by our son after watching a certain green lizard come mechanic on YouTube. Caroline has now gone on to pastures new but being our first crane, she will always be special to us.

She spent a lot of her time on steel installation projects, which gave us opportunity to boost FJ Crane Hire Limited to where we are now. We’ll forever be indebted to Caroline; who knew you could get so attached to metal?

Cindy – Liebherr LTM 1060-3.1

Introducing Cindy, a 60t capacity in Cinderella Blue (get the name?), she is an absolute beauty. An LTM 1060 3.1 with 48m of boom, everything you’d expect from Liebherr – compact design for the road, 3 axles with telescopic boom, impressive lifting capacities. A real asset to the fleet, along with her cracking driver.

The ladies in the office are responsible for the name this time. Cindy helps us fulfil our Contract Lifts and is available to hire with her experienced driver.

Cleo – Liebherr LTM 1055-3.1

We know, A-Team vibes all over! Another crane named by our son – your guess is as good as ours where the name ‘Cleo’ came from, but we love it. Cleo is an LTM1055 3.1 with 40m of boom.

She’s a flexible machine and can be made ready for use very quickly with her BTT remote control making her perfect for your crane hire needs. Cleo is ready for hire and we know you’ll be impressed, although we can’t guarantee the theme music.

Callie – Liebherr LTM 1040-2.1

Callie is a Liebherr LTM 1040-2.1. A two-axle baby next to her big sisters but with 40t capacity and a 35 metre boom she still packs a punch. Callie means ‘beautiful’ and came out on top after being thrown into the mix around the family dinner table.

She is compact and versatile, and the lifting capacity is outstanding over her entire operating range. Watch out for Callie and her skilled and diverse operator out and about.

Casey – Liebherr LTM 1060-3.1

Casey is a Liebherr LTM 1060-3.1, she’s compact and economical with a 48m boom and impressive duties. With the super handy VarioBase, her support system can enable each outrigger to be extended to a different length meaning she’s great for enhanced safety and lifting capacity in tight spaces.

Named Casey simply because we liked it and we’re running out of C’s! When you hire her with her brilliant operator you could chuck a future name in the hat?

Carmella - Liebherr LTM 1040-2.1

Our green machine, Carmella, meaning garden or orchard, is our second LTM 1040 2.1. Convenient and capable she offers a quick variable 4-piece telescopic boom and simple set up with BTT remote. Two axles, a 35m boom and operated by a proficient driver, Carmella is a dependable hire for any site.

Cherry - AK46/6000 Bocker

An aluminium Queen, Cherry, the AK46/6000 Bocker is mounted on a 26-tonne truck with three axles making her comparatively lightweight with great manoeuvrability. Named after her red paint job, she has a payload of up to 6t and a 46m boom. Being remote controlled and compact Cherry can be set up and used in tight spaces.

Perfect for roof trussing, air handling units and domestic jobs. Cherry adds versatility to our fleet and is ready for you to hire.

Myleene, Klaas 1003

Our first brand new crane, we have stayed true to form and challenged the norm (even in our own branding) so we made an exception to the C’s in naming her. If you’re not sure why, a quick internet search should explain. We know, we’re hilarious.

She isn’t just a pretty face, with a 54m aluminium boom she can reach some serious distance. 6t capacity and remote operation, sat on a Volvo Chassis and hybrid engine she’s spectacular on the site and the road. Myleene is operated by a very knowledgeable and skilled driver, Pure and Simple, they’ll be there for you.

Thor The Transit -
Fully equipped vans

Not to leave anybody out, we have fully equipped vans (all the T’s here – we have a Tilly, Trinity and a Tulip) so we can fulfil your Contract Lifting needs and deliver our range of lifting accessories.

Possibly the shiniest machine is the boss’s Ford – go faster stripes and all. Experienced in a multitude of lifts with all sizes of crane we can manage your lifts with professionalism and efficiency.
